Taxes and Constitution as postable opinion in era discussion
The Era argues for a constitutional convention as necessary, noting voter fear and financial concerns. It recalls last year’s legislature, party factionalism, and the 40 movement that pushed nonpartisan delegates, while urging a new constitution with clearer taxation and broader power. The piece urges action at the next session and voter education to gain support.
