VA Restates Ban on Confederate Flags in National Cemeteries
The U S Department of Veterans Affairs reaffirmed a policy barring Confederate flags on permanent flag poles in VA national cemeteries. The stance clarifies guidelines for flag placement at mass burial sites and grave sites, with limited exceptions for Memorial Day ceremonies and Confederate Memorial Day in certain states.
