Five Year Facilities Plans Considered by Aiken County School Board
Aiken County School District and the School Board weigh five year facility options to address unequal needs across six schools. Proposals include replacements at the operations center in 2011, new kitchens at Jackson Middle, expanded classrooms at Aiken High, and potential mergers creating a K-8 on the New Ellenton campus. Funding ranges from 4.4 to 8.4 million per project with phased completion through 2014 to 2016.
