Boating death leads to arrest in Intracoastal crash

Investigators arrested Brandon Scott McDevitt 22 of Myrtle Beach in a boating crash that killed 13 year old Shayne Odermat of Aiken near Socastee on Saturday night. Authorities seek Nicholas Macklen 28 for burglary of a waterfront home and the crash. A 32 inch television was stolen. McDevitt faces first degree burglary charges.

Hanna Expected to Affect Aiken As It Strengthens
