Swedish prosecutor seeks custody in hijacking plan case
Swedish prosecutor requests the court keep Kerim Sadok Chatty in custody on a preliminary charge of planning to hijack an airliner and weapons possession. The 29 year old Swedish citizen was arrested after a gun was found in his carry on bag en route to an Islamic conference in England. The judge was to rule on whether to keep him jailed for at least two weeks while prosecutors build their case amid possible links to terror groups and international investigations.
