Mrs Thurmond arrested for DUI in South Carolina
Nancy Thurmond estranged wife of Senator Strom Thurmond was detained after a 9 PM traffic stop on US 1. She was clocked at 65 mph in a 45 mph zone and failed two field sobriety tests before a third was refused. Bond set at 418 dollars. she was released Sunday morning.
