Quinten Gleaton 18 of Aldrich Street Aiken pleaded guilty to strong arm robbery for the March 2011 kidnapping and robbery of a 29 year old man. He received an active prison sentence under the Youthful Offender Act not to exceed six years.

The Aiken Mid-Day Lions Club hosts its fourth annual wine tasting on Oct 6 at the Aiken County Historical Museum to raise funds for scholarships.
