USCA Ranked Third Among Regional Public Liberal Arts Colleges
USCA has been ranked number three among regional public liberal arts colleges in the South by US News and World Report. Interim chancellor Dr Thomas L Hallman welcomed the recognition noting enhanced statewide and regional academic reputation. The ranking is based on factors such as academic reputation graduation and retention rates faculty resources student selectivity financial resources and alumni giving. This marks the third time USCA has been in the top three of its category.

Two Aiken natives pen new USC spirit song
Two USC graduates from Aiken, Stewart Harris and Michael Stewart, wrote a new spirit song for the University of South Carolina.
