Stand at the Crossroads in Aiken begins a $50,000 duplex project to shelter two families, with 35,000 raised from churches and individuals. Survivors join Breast Cancer Awareness Month walk at Aiken County Career Center campus in Graniteville. Participants paid 2 dollars to complete a 1 mile loop, with proceeds aiding local charities supporting survivors in the Aiken Augusta area. The event marks the fourth annual walk with involvement from LBC Middle School Health Occupations Students of America members Greendale Elementary staff and students and Aiken Technical College nursing program participants among others.
