Aiken Woman Arrested on Vehicle Theft and Drug Charge
Margeri Washington, 54, of Aiken, was arrested after a traffic stop on Kershaw Street and charged with possession of a stolen automobile and drug paraphernalia. The stolen van came from North Charleston, and a glass pipe with burnt residue was found in the vehicle. Justin Finch of Arizona was arrested on York Street after a disturbance at Doctor's Care, charged with malicious injury to property and disorderly conduct. The lobby was left in disarray with overturned racks and tossed magazines. Witnesses said Finch asked for help to return to Arizona.

Woman victim of strong arm robbery on Richland Avenue
A woman reported being approached by a man on Richland Avenue near Williamsburg Street who threatened to hurt her if she did not surrender cash and her Social Security card. The robber fled with 80 dollars, and no weapon was seen. The victim was not injured.
