USC Aiken branch grant boosts funds for new campus
Education officials in Aiken were notified by Sen. Strom Thurmond that the U S Office of Education approved a 164 261 grant increase for the Aiken USC branch bringing total federal funds to 420 535 for the new campus under construction. The project started last June and is due for completion in late 1972 with a total cost near two million dollars.
