Judge OKs taking prints from murder suspects in Dorek case

Judge James Lockemy granted Senior Deputy Solicitor Bill Weeks permission to take palm and fingerprint prints from four co-defendants in the August 2005 murder of Debra Dorek and shooting of Joe Brewer. The motion aimed to compare prints to latent prints from the car used in the pursuit. The defendants objected, citing search and seizure concerns, while Weeks argued the prints would corroborate statements and aid the investigation. The order restricts prints from Tremaine Tyler for 10 days to allow counsel review. all attorneys may access related files.
