SRS Worker Tests Negative After Plutonium Contamination
A Savannah River Site worker exposed during old HB Line decontamination tested positive for internal radioactive material from a fecal sample but a follow up test was negative. results from the laboratory are pending. Five other employees in the area also tested negative. no protective clothes were worn by workers. A piece of craft paper dislodged from scaffolding allowed contamination to escape into an adjacent corridor.

DOE reverses on environmental study for Savannah River incinerator

Aiken Denies Assisted Living Project on First Reading
