Aiken Players Open Boy Friend With Veteran Cast
Opening November 2 at the Aiken Community Playhouse features four veteran Aiken performers and a newcomer sharing roles in The Boy Friend. Polly Baker and Vern Massingale portray Lord and Lady Brockhurst with Barbara Beyers in a French accent and Bruce Hancock as Percival Browne, amid a lively, tuneful farce about cheerful British married life. Barbara, from Texas, has long been active in Aiken theater and on local radio, while Polly and Bruce bring extensive stage work and teaching backgrounds to the production.
