Aiken Middle School Gators host North Augusta Middle Yellow Jackets at Hagood Stadium at 6 30 pm for a shot at the county title. Gators loom 6 1, North Augusta 7 0, and the winner eyes the county crown as both teams aim to claim the city bragging rights.
Meredith Few of Aiken finished seventh at Smithfield Country Club in Easley after a final round 78. The Lady Hornets were ninth as a team with 812 strokes, while Lexington High won with 641. South Aiken, led by Katherine Stewart, placed 14th. Elizabeth Freeman of Westside earned medalist honors with 146 over two days.
