ATC planning three new buildings including wireless tech center
Aiken Technical College advances toward the future with three planned structures. The Dale Phelan Information Technology Building, under construction, will house engineering and computer programs, offer a learning resource center and distance learning, and include embedded chip security. Completion is expected in June with fast tracking by Two State Construction Company Yosh.

Volunteers honored in Columbia for state recognition

Brzezinski to Speak on Democracy in Eastern Europe

Man Arrested After Two Stabbed in Salley
A Salley man was arrested Sunday after a Saturday night stabbing at Julian Taylor Drive. Calvin Milhouse 28 Bath, and Byron Milhouse 22 Ridge Spring were stabbed in the abdomen. Calvin was in serious condition and Byron in good condition at Aiken Regional Medical Centers.

Suspect arrested in stabbing at Julian Taylor Drive home
Kelvin Jackson, 35, living with his girlfriend previously, had trespass notice on file. After a stabbing he fled, then reentered the residence the next morning triggering a sheriff's response. Deputies arrested him on two counts of assault and battery with intent to kill, with an additional burglary warrant sought. He is held without bond at Aiken County Detention Center.

Fair closes Aiken week
