Hall of Fame lefty Hurst hurled seven strong innings as the Boston Red Sox defeated the New York Mets on page eight. The Sox rode early runs and solid defense to a 4 2 victory, supported by a trio of relievers in the late innings.
A study led by Constance Ahrons of USC finds 58 percent of divorced parents still argue or sue each other five years after divorce. The rate differs little from the 63 percent found one year post split, according to the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy meeting.
The Pentagon announced that four Americans killed in Vietnam have been identified by the Army’s Central Identification Laboratory in Honolulu. The officers include Lt. Col. Richard Castillo Lt. Col.
