Committee to Begin Work on Rezoning Area I Schools
A citizens blue ribbon panel for rezoning Area I schools will start work Monday after approval by the Aiken County Board of Education. The committee includes board appointees and Area I elected representatives. New Ellenton Junior High has yet to elect a representative. The group will study zone lines to keep student to facility ratios near the area average and will present up to three alternative plans to the board. The board requests a report by March 1980.
