Mississippi Lawyer Joins Williams Defense Ahead of Murder Trial
Alvin Binder, a 27 year veteran Mississippi criminal attorney, heads to Atlanta to join Wayne B. Williams defense for the December 28 murder trial. Judge Clarence Cooper allows evidence from searches of Williams home and car to be used. Binder replaces Tony Axam, who was fired after a power struggle with lead counsel Mary Welcome.
