Berlin Wall pieces displayed at Spartanburg firm tribute to freedom
Spartanburg manufacturer Menzel displays two 12 foot tall Berlin Wall slabs on its front lawn with green and blue graffiti. Hans Menzel says visitors view and touch the blocks sent in 1991 with German partner help. The exhibit includes German and US flags and Kennedy and Reagan quotes. The German American Club marked the wall’s 25th anniversary with a reception and USC Upstate panel discussion.
