Johnston man jailed on child porn charges
Phillip Andrew Andy Williams, 24, of Johnston, was arrested October 18 on one count of second degree sexual exploitation of a minor. Investigators say he distributed child pornography via a file sharing network with help from the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force and Edgefield County Sheriff's Office. The charge carries up to 10 years in prison if convicted. The case will be prosecuted locally by Tripp Girardeau.
