Winners of the Our Aiken photo contest will be announced Thursday night at 6 p.m. in the Municipal Building conference center at 214 Park Ave. Ten top photos will be canvas auctioned at 6:30 p.m. to benefit the United Way, with 80 others in a silent auction. A verbal dispute Friday led to a front door being slammed. A Jackson man says his vehicle was damaged Saturday on Silver Bluff Road, with long deep scratches. An Oak Drive Beech Island woman reports a nearby resident broke several uninstalled windows at her home during a verbal argument. an 18-year-old was arrested for malicious damage. Rising Star safety award honors SRNS employee in San Diego
