Romney calls for new coalition after criticizing United Nations
Romney blasted the United Nations as a failure and urged withdrawal from the Human Rights Council while proposing a new coalition of free nations. He argued the U N HRC targets Israel without acting against repressive regimes and suggested forming forums to monitor global issues. The remarks came during a campaign stop in South Carolina as McCain criticized Russia and China for blocking UN actions.
