Suspect Arrested in Johnston Woman's Death
Edgefield and Aiken deputies and SLED arrested Gary Collins in Graniteville for the murder of 87 year old Belton M. Thomas whose body was found last Wednesday. An autopsy showed stab wounds and head injuries from a chair beating. Collins, a Johnston area roofer, had no known relation to the victim.
