Medal gifts restore memory of WWII POW and family
The Gaudaen family recalls George Gaudaen's years as a B 17 crewman, escape attempts, and eventual liberation from Moosburg. Dr. R Lee Aston of Elberton arranged delivery of Gaudaen's Air Medal Purple Heart and POW medals to his children Michael Jeanne and Larry, preserving a father's legacy.
