Sniper Spree Stuns Washington Area as Toll Rises
Police hunted a Chevrolet Astro van after a northern Virginia shooting at a busy intersection. The spree spread terror across Maryland Virginia and the District with nine killed and two wounded. Investigators linked the killings to a single shooter taunting authorities.
