Deputy fired for giving minor ID in West Columbia
Aiken County Deputy Christopher Salley was terminated on Sept 22 for off duty conduct after lending his ID to a minor in West Columbia. An 18 year old Swansea man later found Salley’s ID during his arrest for drunkenness and resisting police. Salley had previously been active in a separate June incident and faced no charges related to this event.
