Idaho cleanup fears ease as waste bill advances

The plan excludes INEEL tanks and requires NRC standards, with Idaho officials noting public input was limited and potential future challenges remain.

Sea Turtles Decline Despite Fishing Rule Change
Officials report a sharp decline in loggerhead nests in South Carolina, despite a federal rule mandating circle hooks for longline fishermen. The change, effective last August, is criticized by fishers who say it makes fishing harder and may not protect turtles, with nest numbers falling from 2,576 to 747 in the latest season.
