Aiken Center Fighting Addiction Through Counseling and Prevention
The Aiken Center on Gregg Avenue offers intensive outpatient treatment for alcohol and drug addiction with emphasis on emotional baggage, behavioral change, and counseling. It funds programs through state and federal grants, liquor tax minibottles, United Way, and local gifts, and plans early prevention, seminars, youth retreats, and life-skills training to curb rising crack cocaine use and aid recovery.
