Suspect in Palm Springs officers slaying held after standoff
John Felix, 26, was captured after a lengthy siege at his parents home in Palm Springs. Two officers were killed Jose Vega and Lesley Zerebny, a third officer wounded. Felix wore body armor and carried ammo when arrested after non lethal rounds were used. He faces first degree murder charges and other felonies. death penalty decision to be made within two weeks.
