Missing boys found alive in Appalachian woods
Two cousins aged 5 and 7 were found alive after a 20 hour ordeal in Red River Gorge Kentucky. They slept on the ground and ate sticks during the night and were located about a mile from the family campsite in rugged terrain. They were unharmed and in good spirits according to their mother Julia Esposito and state police. The boys, Michael Esposito of Batavia Ohio and Adrian Ross of Bloomington Indiana, had wandered off while adults tended the campsite. Searchers used dogs and a helicopter while the boys reportedly ate cookies jerky and drank water after being found.
