Cardboard Boats Race Tests North Augusta Students
North Augusta Golf and Country Club hosts a cardboard boat challenge led by physics teacher Kathy Gambill. Bentley Sam wins with a 26 second crossing, aided by duct tape and a Clemson style tiger paw flag, while AP classmates place behind him. Gambill ties buoyancy to lessons as students design water resistant craft from cardboard.
