Woman shoots at attacker then flees with child in Aiken
A 24 year old woman used a revolver to repel a man named Smith who kicked in her door and dragged her by hair and shirt to a car. The 4 year old boy was found unharmed and reunited with his mother, who had kept the gun for protection after repeated fear of Smith. Deputies arrested Smith on Lloydtown Road and the victim was safe. The pair once lived on Baldwin Street and the sheriff described prior calls to the home.
