Trenton Man Dies After Truck Crashes Onto Him
Edgefield County Coroner Thurmond Burnett reports Heath Ellerbee, 41, died Tuesday night after the truck he was working under slipped from a jack and crushed him. He was transported to Georgia Regents Medical Center by EMS and pronounced dead around 9 p.m. The incident occurred as Ellerbee performed maintenance on the vehicle.

Aiken Woman Charged After On Street Assault
Aiken woman Mary Louise Salley, 52, faces disorderly conduct and two counts of third degree assault and battery after allegedly punching a 40 year old woman on Morgan Street. Deputies reported a laceration and facial redness on the victim and Salley attempted to bite a deputy. Salley was held at the Aiken County detention center.
