Authorities arrested three additional people Monday in connection with the shooting death of 25 year old Jonathan Kitchings. FBI suspects deliberate contamination rather than environmental sources in two Florida anthrax cases. One man died and hundreds of coworkers sought medical tests after offices of American Media Inc. in Boca Raton were sealed and investigators in protective gear searched for how the bacterium entered. Authorities ruled out obvious environmental causes and pursued further testing and leads.
Aiken City Council endorsed a Whiskey Road demonstration project to ease traffic. The plan includes a rear exit behind Wendy’s through Staples lot and reducing curb cuts from ten to six.
