Richard Herdegen of Wright Terminix warned the North Augusta Rotary Club that water vapor can accumulate under homes up to 16 gallons daily, causing mildew, mold, roof damage and structural issues if venting and drainage are improper. He cited factors like lot slope, rainfall, gutter and venting problems, and even indoor activities as moisture sources. The club meets Tuesdays at 12:30 p.m. at the North Augusta Community Center.
