Off-duty deputy arrested after altercation at Aiken park
An off-duty Aiken County Sheriff’s Office deputy and Matthew Seigler were arrested after a fight at Citizens Park in Aiken around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday. Sgt. Joshua Eric Mathis, 36, faces third degree assault and battery charges and was terminated. Seigler, 31, Graniteville, is also charged.
