Aiken County Sheriff's Office is investigating a stabbing on Elizabeth Avenue after two men at a residence reported being attacked. One man says the other in the living room stabbed the driveway resident following an argument. A green leafy substance and grinder parts were found in the home.
Aiken County Sheriff's Office logs a series of incidents including a Beech Island business burglary with a broken back window, multiple home burglaries on Lizard Lane and Saddlebrook Trail, and various thefts and threats. Items stolen include bicycles, a television, a Wi Fi device, and a pump action shotgun. No charges were filed in domestic dispute cases. A separate report notes gunfire near Frontage Road and Edgefield Highway.
The Cumbee Center shifts its Bar gain Box resale store to 562 E. Pine Log Road for a larger space. The store offers clothes, shoes, sofas and more to benefit abused women, children and men who receive center services. Volunteers note the store helps clients find outfits for court and school.
