Rally for the Cure at Cedar Creek tees off to benefit cancer causes
The 9th Annual Rally for the Cure golf tournament at The Golf Club at Cedar Creek drew 132 golfers despite a chilly fall morning. Organizers Hank and Carol Thurmond, pro Mike DiPasquale, and Barney McGinty of Savannah River Cancer Foundation spoke to participants about funding needs for cancer patients and care costs. CanHope volunteers prepared goody bags and managed registration, with calls for more information to Cedar Creek and CanHope.
