Tomorrow is the final day to register to vote in the November election. Residents who changed address or did not vote in four years must register by 3 p.m. at the Voter Registration Office in the County Council Building on Richland Avenue or at session locations today and tomorrow including Kwick Shop on SC 19 North and Schofield Parking Lot at Barnwell and Sumter.

Aiken County Public School District reports a 16 point rise in SAT scores this year with verbal up four and math up twelve. Of 1335 graduates, 594 took the test. averages were 398 verbal and 443 math, improving from last year.
