Mary Hickman a long time Jefferson Elementary School teacher in Bath SC is a six year breast cancer survivor and fundraiser participant. Her late husband Jerry from DOE SRS support family and church helped through treatments. Her daughter Amanda now advised to start annual mammograms before 40 reflects family history. Mary stresses self exams prayer volunteering and keeping a positive attitude with light humor from granddaughter Kourey.
