Antler Restrictions Set for Crackerneck Deer Season

Crackerneck Wildlife Management Area imposes antler rules requiring bucks to have at least four points on one side or a 12 inch outside spread. The season runs until Jan 1 with enforcement across all hunting methods. Wildlife biologist Mike Caudell notes many previous harvests were fawns or 14 year old bucks, and hunters favored a more selective approach.
