Man honors late wife with miniature Catholic church
Joe Beaudet and his late wife Patricia cherished their Catholic faith and planned a miniature church as a lasting tribute. After Patricia’s 2011 death, Joe, a COPD sufferer at 89, built the detailed shrine in his basement with help from family, using finds from travels and his Manhattan Monuments shop to craft pews, a choir loft, holy water stand, and a large steeple with a cross.
