Mahoney Defends Hahn Village, Notes Pace's Run Homicides
Lt Jake Mahoney of Aiken Public Safety says Hahn Village’s two recent homicides do not define the neighborhood. Pace's Run has had two murders in two years, with City Manager John Klimm demanding a crime action plan by owners within 30 days after a Sept 30 shooting. The city has since started a working relationship with Pace's Run management, per City spokesman Tim O Briant. Osbon, encouraged by the new partnership, cites Pace's Run as a potential model for improvement.
