Norma Jean Clemons 87 dies. memorial service set

Norma Jean Clemons of Jackson South Carolina died November 27 2010 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. December 1 at Jackson Bible Church with family receiving friends afterward. She is survived by husband Walter and children Kathleen Moore Christine Jeffery and Keith Clemons plus grandchildren and great grandchildren. Shellhouse Funeral Home in Aiken is handling arrangements.

Inmate Danen Johnson stabbed to death at Lieber Correctional

Prison officials report 39 year old Danen Laval Johnson was stabbed several times in a dorm at Lieber Correctional Institution around 4 30 p m Sunday. He was pronounced dead shortly after the guard shift and an autopsy will determine exact cause. The investigation is being conducted by the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division.

Two men charged in death of Little River man

In Horry County, John Lee Monroe Scott and Jeffery Michael Landacre face murder and armed robbery and accessory charges after 51 year old Johnny Ray Caulder was slain in a parking lot. Caulder died Saturday from a throat wound after a fight and theft of cigarettes.
