Elizabeth Barrett Woodard of Aiken won Miss South Carolina USA at Dockside Theatre, among 43 entrants. The 21 year old Clem son University senior accounting major will compete in Miss USA on February 17, 1987 in Albuquerque New Mexico.
LSU football Coach Bill Arnsparger resigns abruptly after accepting Sugar Bowl invitation amid speculation he could become Florida athletic director. He will coach through the Sugar Bowl.
