North Augusta Christmas tree lights brighten community
North Augusta welcomed the Christmas season with the annual tree lighting in John C. Calhoun Park led by Mayor Bob Pettit. Molly Glenn, Pettit’s granddaughter, flipped the switch as bands from North Augusta and Paul Knox middle schools performed. The mayor praised the community and shared a Reagan quote about a new spirit of love and peace. Santa joined in the lighting as a backdrop photo gallery is online.
