South Carolina Tax Amnesty Ends Saturday

State officials expect 6 000 to 10 000 delinquent taxpayers to use the amnesty before Saturday. About 30 000 owe 45 million dollars and have letters. meanwhile 2 million of an anticipated 6 million has been collected. After November 30 penalties rise and prosecutions may follow. installment plans are offered and offices will open on Saturday to serve remaining taxpayers.

Jackson Says World More Dangerous

Rev. Jesse Jackson said the Geneva summit accomplished little beyond leaders agreeing not to say mean things in public.
