The American Red Cross hosted its monthly blood drive at the Aiken Mall on Wednesday drawing 20 donors toward a 25 unit goal to meet seasonal needs. First time donor Kayce Jendraszek, 16, shared that the process is less painful than expected after initial low iron tests. Long-time donor Mike Shealy, celebrating 38 years of giving, urged participation. Upcoming drives are scheduled at Aurora Pavilion on December 22 and at the mall on December 28.
