Deputies hunt for a black male in his late teens described as 5 foot 7 to 5 foot 9 and 160 to 180 pounds. Paul Joseph Sirley 35 of Aiken was killed in what officials call a drug deal gone bad near Crestlyn Drive and Weston Street around 7 p.m. An autopsy is planned in Newberry to confirm cause of death and homicide is listed. Information may be reported to the Aiken County Sheriff's Office or Crime Stoppers for a cash reward.
In Ridge Spring Monetta Elementary Middle School a group of third graders received the H1N1 vaccine with arm bands shown to Principal Jim Hooper. DHEC began the immunization drive in Aiken County and plans to continue through January with about 700 students enrolled.
